The most recent invention? Without language humans would have never been able to develop their minds to the point where we are right now. Language is key to transmit knowledge from generation to generation. It´s an ancient art haha

@ andrea i do not believe our minds have "developed' due to language over the years for that we have become detached from the basic understanding of our basic knowledge for survival thus making us a weaker species, sure we can solve a math problem, and build something that will collapse in a matter of years and create massive oil spills and shoot eachother with rifles and cure diseases we ourselves have created but thats exactly what keeps us back , it isnt the key to preserve knowledge for that somethings are preserved from generation to generation without it for example my mother did not have to tell me with words how to chew, i wouldnt have been able to understand even if she tried to tell me how to chew as a baby... thanks to language now we are confined to being weak against advertisement and like i mentioned in class today thanks to our great sharing of ideas, our security no longer is in our hands, but rather in the hands of higher powers which we have little or no control over.
